The conference is a timely opportunity for all newly qualified teachers to reflect on their teaching experiences to date, and to have access to excellent, relevant support to develop their teaching further. The programme will include sessions on structuring the learning to meet pupils’ needs by teaching positive behaviours for learning to engage and motivate pupils. In addition workshops led by ASTs will focus on developing pupils’ creativity and thinking skills (‘learning to learn’) within all subjects of the curriculum.
